| Driving from Bangkok: Hua Hin is 200 kilometres from Bangkok (2 hours 30 minutes drive under normal traffic conditions). From Sukhumvit, Ploenchit, take Wireless Road (Hilton Bangkok) and turn right on New Petchburi Road at the end of Wireless (Witthayu). 200 meters after turn right and get on the Southbound Expressway following the directions to DAO KHANONG (Toll of Baht 40 at the expressway entrance). You will be crossing the Rama IX Bridge across the Chao Phraya River and pass the Thai Farmers Bank Highrise Building on the other shore of the river. After the bridge follow the directions towards road no. 35 (Rama II Road), direction of SAMUT SAKHORN; SAMUT SONGKRAM. 100 kilometres from the entrance of the expressway will be the intersection between road 35 and road 4 to Petchaburi or Rachaburi. Take the direction of Petchaburi (Soutbound, also called Petchkasem Road), direction Cha-am and Hua Hin. Always keep the direction to Cha-am. When reaching the centre of Hua Hin, turn left at Damnoenkasem Road and follow the Hilton signs in the middle of the street. 150 metres from the intersection, turn left again into the narrow Naresdamri Road. The hotel entrance will be another hundred metres after the turn. Driving from Surat Thani (South of Thailand): Follow the direction to Bangkok. Hua Hin is 450 kilometres north (4 1/2 hours drive) on the Northbound Petchkasem Road (no. 4). On reaching Pranburi, follow the sign towards Hua Hin - Cha am. Then when arriving in Hua Hin, turn right into Damnoenkasem Street and then same as above to the Hilton. |
